Tilting Rotary Furnaces

Tilting Rotary Furnaces (TRF) are basically the rotary furnaces which tilts to enable efficient use of salt and tap out of molten aluminium.

The TRF offers advantages as,

1. Minimal use of salt as compared to static Rotary furnace.
2. Can treat dirty scrap, dross and thin cross sectional material.
3. Flame has higher dwell time hence gives better efficiency
4. Offers lower cycle time for melting.
5. Homogeneous alloying of metal.
